Handmade Ancient Greek modern sandals, made with very soft brown leather. The summer shoes Phaedra are Ancient Greek modern sandals for women made with a loop ankle strap. They fit nicely on the foot and hold it steady even though there is no clasp.
The unique long loop around the foot gives a sense of freedom and makes these women’s sandals perfect for all-day use. Their shape is not big so they are ideal for very thin feet.

Phaedra

Phaedra was the daughter of Minos and the second wife of Theseus. The asteroid 174 (1877) took the name of Phaedra.

Large sizes

These sandals, as well as several more, are available in a wide range of womens’ sizes from EU 35 to 47 (USA 4-16). As the conditions change, in recent years, we often meet customers who wear a large shoe size. Knowing how difficult it is to find something that will satisfy them we try in collaboration with our craftsmen to meet this need by offering larger sizes than usual.
Men’s designs are currently available in sizes EU 40 to 48 (USA 7-15) and we are working to increase their sizes as well.

The sandals are handmade with genuine leather therefore each and every pair is unique. Keep in mind that the color of the sandals you see online may slightly differ from reality due to many factors (lighting, device, etc.), while at the same time the leather of the shoe darkens because of the sun light.
