A lovely white sandal on sale because it is available in a few sizes. The Ios sandals have elaborate rope lacing, opaque turquoise stones and gold detailing. Stunning and in natural colour with white stones, now only available in size EU41 (USA10). The strap that wraps around the ankle can be removed and worn as slides. If you’re lucky and your size is available, get them and impress!

The Ios

Ios or Nio is located in the Aegean Sea and belongs to the Cyclades. Ios is a hilly island with cliffs down to the sea on most sides, located between Naxos and Santorini.
According to Plutarch, the name came from the ancient Greek word for violets “Ia” because there were many on the island and this is the most accepted etymology. According to others, Ios owes its name to the Phoenician word ios, meaning pile of stones.
