The design of the metallic element looks like two calligraphic symmetrical opposite Greek epsilon and is reminiscent of the Delphic Epsilon located in the Temple of Apollo, from where the sandals get their name. Apollonia

The name Apollonia comes from the god Apollo. In the Temple of Apollo at Delphi, we find the Delphic double E, an ancient Greek symbol (key) associated with the man’s initiation into the light. Apollo was the god of Sun and many related worship ceremonies was performed in his Temple. The Delphic double E is reminiscent of two symmetrical epsilons and symbolizes the symmetry of the world. In Ancient Greece, as a number it symbolized the five cosmogenic elements: Earth, Air, Water, Fire, and Ether.
Apollonia is also the capital of the Sifnos island in the Cyclades, a traditional town that took its name from the god Apollo.
